Ida Origins
Overview
From concept to completion, this brand identity design project entailed a lot of brainstorming. Since branding isn’t just about the logo but also about telling a story, we wanted the Ida logo to touch multiple touch points with its audience.
First off, we wanted to encapsulate the meaning of Ida - the lunar nadi corresponding to the creative process of the brain. We also wanted the brand mark to depict a piece of furniture while representing the alphabets of Ida (I, D and A).
At the start of the project we chose a few words we wanted the branding to embody: raw yet refined, fluid and unique. It was important that the design remained minimal and light while still being out of the box. The final outcome was a boutique-worthy brand identity that highlights its penchant for creative design.
