Recipe: Autumn Punch

Always looking for fun new cocktails to add to a party, this drink collaboration between Scout and Fortune Feast seems just right for the holiday season. Spiced rum flavoured with cider and cinnamon stick accent, this could easily be the best beverage autumn has to offer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 oz spiced rum
  • 4 ox fresh unfiltered apple juice
  • 2 big pinches of chinese 5 spice
  • 2 long threads of lemon peel
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 bottle hard pear cider

Directions:

In a shaker half-filled with ice-cubes, combine the rum, apple juice, and Chinese 5 spice.  Shake well and pour into your glass of choice, top with cider and garnish with a cinnamon stick and twist of lemon peel.
